EzyBooking Goes Global, Simplifying Cargo Management in One Platform

Global Logistics System (HK) Company Limited have announced the successful global launch of EzyBooking, a digital multi-airline booking platform fully integrated within its flagship EzyCargo system. Available 24/7, the new booking platform empowers freight forwarders to compare and book cargo across multiple airlines in real time and manage booking modifications directly in response to routine operational changes. Both airlines and freight forwarders can now handle booking-related operations anytime, anywhere, regardless of local office hours or time zones.

Marking the start of a new era in air cargo digitalisation, EzyBooking launches with Cathay Cargo as its first airline partner to realise full end-to-end functionality through direct API integration. More airlines will be progressively onboarded to expand global coverage for more than 12,000 users worldwide.

With the integration of EzyBooking, the EzyCargo™ system is now a comprehensive one-stop cargo management hub designed to streamline and automate air cargo operations. By unifying booking, booking management, e-AWB processing, and real-time customs clearance status tracking within a single, centralised system, EzyCargo™ delivers a seamless end-to-end cargo management experience that sets a new benchmark for operational efficiency. This milestone reflects GLS's commitment to building a connected, automated, and transparent ecosystem for the air cargo community.

Simon Ng, Chief Executive, GLS, said:

‘The launch of EzyBooking underscores our commitment to driving digital transformation that creates value for the air cargo industry. We are empowering freight forwarders and airlines alike with real-time control over every stage of the air cargo journey.’

He added: ‘With Cathay Cargo as EzyBooking’s first airline partner, we have established a strong foundation and we look forward to welcoming more airlines to the platform in the coming months, further expanding value and choice for the global EzyCargo™ community.’

James Evans, General Manager, Cargo Commercial, Cathay Cargo, said:

‘We appreciate the close collaboration with GLS to bring new booking-related digital capabilities to life. By integrating solutions like EzyBooking and Manage Booking into forwarders’ day-to-day workflows, we’re making it easier for forwarders to work with us, giving them the control and transparency they need to operate with confidence. As the air cargo industry evolves, we will continue developing digital solutions that our customers value with trusted partners like GLS, and stay committed to leading the transformation by keeping our customers at the centre of every innovation.’
