Lufthansa Cargo has marked the beginning of a new chapter in its leadership journey with the commencement of a newly structured Executive Board.

Frank Bauer, formerly Chief Financial Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer, has assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer. With his deep industry knowledge and unwavering dedication, Frank Bauer is well positioned to further enhance Lufthansa Cargo’s operational excellence and drive innovation in a rapidly evolving cargo landscape.

Joining the Executive Board is Gregor Schleussner, who steps into the dual role of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer. Gregor brings a wealth of experience from within the Lufthansa Group and is expected to contribute fresh strategic perspectives to support the company’s continued growth and financial stability.

Ashwin Bhat will continue to lead the organization as Chief Executive Officer. Under his guidance, and with the support of the fully assembled Executive Board, Lufthansa Cargo reaffirms its ambition to re-establish itself among the top three leading air cargo carriers globally, alongside the committed efforts of its employees.
