Qatar Airways Cargo Adds Four Cities to Winter Freighter Network

Qatar Airways Cargo is further strengthening its global network this Winter 2026 season with the introduction of dedicated freighter services from Copenhagen, Denmark, New York City (JFK), and Dallas, Texas, as well as a direct freighter connection from Warsaw, Poland to Chicago, Illinois. The network enhancements provide customers with increased capacity, greater flexibility and improved connectivity across Europe and North America, while offering seamless access to key global markets through the airline's Doha hub.

Effective 25 October 2026, Qatar Airways Cargo will introduce a weekly Boeing 777 freighter service from Copenhagen, providing 100 tonnes of dedicated export capacity and strengthening the airline’s presence in the Nordic region. Operating Doha-Budapest-Copenhagen-Doha, the service will support growing export demand from Denmark and Southern Sweden, with connectivity to Asia, the Middle East, the Indian Subcontinent, Africa and beyond, through Doha. It will complement Qatar Airways’ 10 weekly Boeing 787 passenger services, which provide more than 100 tonnes of belly-hold capacity in each direction, per week.

In Central Europe, the cargo carrier will relaunch freighter service to Warsaw, adding a weekly direct connection from Warsaw to Chicago, operating on the route Doha - Warsaw – Chicago – Brussels – Doha. The Boeing 777 freighter service will offer Polish exporters and manufacturers direct access and capacity to US markets. Launching on 26 October 2026, the new weekly Warsaw-Chicago freighter, together with the airline's twice-weekly freighters to Katowice and 10 weekly wide-body passenger flights to Warsaw will increase total cargo capacity to and from Poland to more than 435 tonnes each way.

Across the Atlantic, in North America, Qatar Airways Cargo will launch a weekly Boeing 777 freighter effective 1 November with routing Doha – Liège – New York (JFK) – Atlanta – Liège - Doha. The new freighter service will complement 14 weekly belly-hold flights to and from New York and is set to increase weekly cargo capacity to more than 226 tonnes each way. Recently, the cargo carrier introduced two weekly Boeing 777 freighters to Dallas, operating Doha-Liège-Dallas-Doha, providing 200 tonnes of main deck capacity into Dallas and 100 tonnes outbound. Combined with 14 weekly wide-body passenger flights, the new operation increases total weekly cargo capacity to more than 250 tonnes into Dallas and over 150 tonnes out of Dallas, strengthening trade links between Texas and global markets across the carrier’s network.

All these services will cater to key industries including pharmaceuticals and healthcare, aerospace, technology and energy, perishables, high-value and time-sensitive shipments, vehicles and oversized cargo, as well as general and industrial shipments while providing customers access to the airline’s global network of over 160 destinations.
