Liege Airport has announced the launch of a new scheduled cargo route operated by Supernova Airlines, connecting Liege (LGG) with Ostrava (OSR). The service operates four times per week, reinforcing the airport’s position as a major European logistics gateway and expanding Supernova Airlines’ reach across Central Europe.
Founded in a period marked by operational constraints and global uncertainty, Supernova Airlines is a new cargo carrier built to navigate complexity. The airline has rapidly established itself with a model centered on resilience, adaptability, and continuous connectivity, ensuring cargo keeps moving even when traditional routes and markets face disruption. The launch of these new flights at LGG reflects its steady growth and its strategic focus on reliable European corridors.
This new LGG–OSR route adds capacity for time-sensitive shipments, e-commerce, and industrial freight, while improving access to distribution hubs linking Western Europe with Central and Eastern regions.
Frederic Brun, Head of Commercial at Liege Airport, stated: “Supernova Airlines’ choice of Liege Airport strengthens our position as a key gateway to Central and Eastern Europe. This new connection ensures seamless access to regions where air operations remain challenging, offering reliable solutions for customers who depend on uninterrupted cargo flows.”
Natalia Holynskaya, Deputy CCO & Head of Sales at Supernova Airlines, added: “Launching our LGG–OSR connection is an important milestone in expanding our European network. Liege Airport offers the operational freedom, infrastructure, and 24/7 cargo expertise that support our growth and our commitment to delivering high-quality air transport solutions to our customers.”
